WHAT DOES OLINKO DO?

OLINKO is a new initiative from eVri, specialising in the digital workplace. We believe in a sustainable future, where the boundaries between work and private life will further blur and technology will help us work more safely, efficiently and sustainably. OLINKO wants to connect business and IT and help customers embrace this evolution and use it to their advantage. In terms of security, we focus specifically on security awareness among end-users and the importance of secure data handling by creating more awareness of GDPR. We compile annual security awareness plans tailored to our customers’ needs, and provide hands-on workshops and introductory courses on GDPR.

Now that we are all working digitally, we are much more susceptible to cybercriminals and we need to be alert to the dangers associated with this. Humans are still the cause of more than 80% of cyber incidents, often unconsciously and without malicious intent. Yet your employees remain the first line of defence in the event of an attack and thus the greatest risk. A change in mentality is needed to create a culture of safety and security. You cannot achieve this with a one-off training course or by rolling out an e-learning tool, but by carefully compiling an annual plan and thus making a heavy subject such as security accessible to end users.

Awareness and communication is one of the milestones of an information security policy. It is a logical measure to raise awareness on data privacy and cyber hygiene. Since we have such programmes drawn up and implemented by certified Data Protection Officers, we can also provide the necessary guidance in complying with the GDPR legislation.
